The most comfortable shoes are considered sneakers, but really it all depends on the specific model. Almost any kind of these products can be comfortable to wear, whether it is a pair of shoes, Birkenstocks, mules, boots, boots, sandals, monkeys or deserts. The main thing is that the product should have a raised sole in the heel area or a small stable heel. When you wear them, you should feel light and soft gait, which largely depends on the ability of the lower part of the product to bend. The shoes should repeat the motion of the foot with each step.

There are special medical inserts, which are often made individually for each patient, taking into account the anatomic features of the foot and the existing problem. The following types of insoles are also freely available:

  • Thermo (create a thermal layer);
  • Latex insoles (have ventilation holes);
  • Silicone (gives additional comfort to the foot during walking);
  • textile (designed for lightweight shoes).

For any season the best shoe material is natural leather, as it does not create barriers to oxygen access, does not interfere with normal heat exchange. It creates a favorable microclimate, in which the foot does not sweat and feels comfortable. The skin may be patent, smooth, with fleece. In the latter case, it is nubuck, velour, suede. Smooth leather is susceptible to the slightest mechanical damage, sensitive to temperature changes – this should be considered when choosing shoes for a certain season. Suede is more capricious. It is less sensitive to scratches, random scuffs, but with the removal of dust and dirt can be a problem. Nubuck and velour resist humidity better, but faster than smooth leather lose their original appearance.

The main purpose of athletic shoes is to provide secure foot support during exercise so that the athlete can concentrate on the exercise without the discomfort of an unstable foot position. The load on the foot depends largely on the type of physical exertion. Therefore, it is necessary to choose this category of shoes based on the type of sport. For example, for fitness it is better to buy high sneakers. They well fix the ankle, which minimizes the risk of ankle joint damage. For power activities, on the contrary, you need low models with a compacted and sufficiently rigid sole and back, they are also called tripods.

For running, you’ll need light and soft shoes with cushioning elements, a solid heel and a rounded toe. Air cushioning in the sole is welcomed, as it enhances cushioning and protects ligaments and joints from shock loads during running. Saving on comfortable sports shoes is not recommended. It is better to choose products from reputable brands that have earned respect and popularity among athletes and ordinary users. Such shoes will last much longer and will be as comfortable to wear.
